A bunch of live Slowdive video have been uploaded to YouTube, most of which were recorded when the band supported Ride on various dates with the exception of the London date when the band were opening for Chapterhouse.
Despite Creation Records closing in 2000 most of the artists have continued to release some great records since.
Over 22 years after its release, Slowdive’s second album is the feature of a fantastic new documentary on Pitchfork.tv.
Slowdive’s third album just like its predecessor was completely and utterly overlooked upon release. Some may blame that on Creation who were now focused on delivering hits, but the press were also definitely to blame.
Neil Halstead and Rachel Goswell of Slowdive will be reuniting for two special gigs in London later this month.
Following last years reissue of ‘Just For A Day’ and ‘Souvlaki’ on vinyl, Slowdive’s final album ‘Pygmalion’ is now set to be repressed.
The former Slowdive frontman Neil Halstead has signed to Sonic Cathedral to release his third solo album. ‘Palindrome Hunches’ will be released on November 5th and follows his forthcoming UK dates including a Sonic Cathedral show at Bush Hall in London on September 25th. Neil Read more
Slowdive are to release a new Anthology next month on Cherry Red. No details are listed on the Cherry Red website yet, therefore it’s not known if the tracks have been re-mastered. The album will be out on April 26th and the tracklisting is as Read more
