I was really sad to hear that Dale Griffin has died. The news comes only a week after the world lost David Bowie whom helped Dale’s band Mott The Hoople to success in the early 1970s.

This is a really exciting release for early Creation fans due in September, Artifact: The Dawn of Creation Records is a 5CD box set including early singles, demos, radio sessions and live tracks from 1983 to 1985.
With all the new activity from many of the bands recently, it is good to see this is slowly creeping back into the national charts.
Another release for Record Store Day this year is a live version of Psychocandy on vinyl.
